Boot retainer & jam nut for 2005-2019 Corvette w manual transmission:

• REQUIRES AFTERMARKET SHIFTER w 9 16 -18 knob thread
• • Does NOT FIT stock shifter!
  • • Allows use of 9 16 -18 threaded knob such as those meant for C5
    • • See separate listings for kits w knobs
      • • Confirm your shifter has 9 16 -18 knob thread before purchase!

        • Kit includes jam nut, adapter sleeve, and boot support grommet:

          • Use jam nut to orient and lock knob position
          • On 2005-2007 the leather boot (elastic top) simply snaps into the grommet groove like OE
          • On 2008+ the OE chrome trim ring is removed (held from underneath by an o-ring) & boot fastens to grommet w stock o-ring
          • Some aftermarket shifters for 2010+ Camaro that have 9 16 -18 threads can also benefit from this retainer, such as MTI Six Shooter
